Our 2013 vintage is overflowing with a generous aroma of intense blackberry, black licorice, dark chocolate, and soft lilac. This wine has a juicy fruity beginning that comes across as plush flavors of a dark chocolate covered black raspberry that just pleasantly stay on the palate with the slightest whisper of floral on the finish. Pair this Syrah with a hearty beef stew, kobe burger, or steak.
We love this small hillside vineyard carefully tended to by Father Steve & Betsy Tumbas. Their loving hands and attention to detail shows why it's often said that "wine is made in the vineyard". We are huge fans of Syrah and this wine is a big part of that reason.
