2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a great, fruit forward Cabernet that is loaded with hints of rasberry done in our softer style. Light in tannins, this wine would pair well with any red meat, burgers or of course chocolate.
18 months French & American oak
This garnet colored wine has aromas and flavors that match the depth of its color. A luscious nose of blackberry jam, black currant, espresso, and caramel along with its alluring matching flavors that power their way across the palate make this a serious wine. Its layers of flavors fill and hang out in the mouth having you wanting more with every sip. Pair this Cabernet with beef wellington, filet mignon, or prime rib.
The majority of the fruit in this wine was grown in the Sierra Ft Hills of California near Grass Valley. This area is warm and dry during the day and the temperatures drop significantly in the evening due to its elevation. This gives the fruit great ripening and nice balanced acids.
